why weekly
Weekly classes give you something you can’t get in a single day: steady, relaxed practice in a real woodworking lab. You build skills step by step, try new tools and techniques, and see your confidence grow from one session to the next.
You’re not rushing to finish, you have time to ask questions, refine details, and take on slightly more ambitious projects as you progress. Along the way, you share the space with other makers in Thessaloniki, learning together and supporting each other’s ideas.

How it works
Once per week, 2-hour eveningsessions

Monthly fee: 120€, fixed regardless of missed sessions
For our projects: materials usually 5–15€.
For personal builds: buy wood/hardware from our supply or bring your own

Get hands-on with professional woodworking equipment in a dedicated creative space at SDR Lab. Everything you need is ready for you each week.
Full access to hand tools (chisels, planes, saws, clamps)
Supervised use of power tools (drill press, bandsaw, router)
Your own workbench spot for the whole session
Safety gear provided (goggles, dust masks, ear protection)

Weekly Courses
Our Weekly Woodworking Courses are designed for adults who want a more regular and in-depth woodworking experience.
These courses allow you to develop your skills gradually, work on larger projects, or bring your own ideas to life in a fully equipped woodworking lab.
*Unlike our one-day workshops, the weekly format gives you the time and continuity needed to take on more ambitious builds and grow confidently as a maker.
Prerequisite
To join the Weekly Woodworking Courses, participants must have attended at least one of our workshops. This ensures familiarity with the space, basic safety rules, and workshop culture.

woodworking: make your own Wooden Crate
In our introductory woodworking workshop, you will learn about basic tools and techniques while constructing a wooden storage crate. There are two handle options to choose, one with clean opening and one with rope, as you can see in the photo. And yes, you get to take your handmade masterpiece home! (Crate dimensions: 46x33x23cm).
